Riverside Discovery Center
Come face to face with a lion, meet a chimpanzee and embrace the wonders of the animal kingdom! Not only is RDC a fully acredited zoo, they also strive to inspire a sense of awe and stewardship for the natural world by supporting conservation, education, discovery and recreation.
The Historic Midwest Theater is the region’s premier, multi-purpose cultural venue accommodating fine film and performing arts while maintaining the historic integrity of the building.
Scottsbluff National Monument
Towering 800 feet above the North Platte River, Scotts Bluff has served as a landmark for peoples from Native Americans to emigrants to modern travelers. Enjoy an engaging visitor center, and take a drive up to the very top to take in breath taking views of our valley.
Chimney Rock National Monument
Feel the awe and curiosity the pioneers experienced when they saw the most famous landmark on the Oregon, California, and Mormon Trails. Enjoy the visitor center, complete with museum exhibits, books, educational games and unique craft items from the gift shop.
North Platte River/Lake Minatare
Winding through Scottsbluff and the surrounding area, the North Platte River offers beautiful scenery and excellent fishing opportunities. Just 12 miles northeast of town, Lake Minatare awaits with the same, along with an historic lighthouse, and modern camping facilities.
